    If a scholarship has not been awarded to the student, they have to produce proper proof of their financial resources in order to apply for the visa. The student visas take up to 25 days to be processed whereas other German visas are processed within 3 months.

    Types of Student Visas:

    German Student Visa- This is the standard visa that is given to students who are ready to start their education at their new university.
    German Student Applicant Visa- This visa does not allow anyone to actually study in Germany but is required if someone wants to apply to a university in person.
    Schengen Visa- This if for students whose studies last up to 3 months.
    German National Visa-This is for students whose studies last over 3 months.

    Documents needed for German Student Visa:

    National visa application form that has been appropriately signed and filled out.
    Valid national passport.
    Certificate of birth.
    Marriage certificate(if applicable).
    Birth certificate of child(if applicable).
    3 passport size photographs.
    Photocopies of previous German residence titles(if applicable).
    German resident permit.
    A GIC(Guaranteed Investment Certificate) for the adjustment of the living expenses of the first year for the student.
    Schengen visa.
    Proof of university admission.
    Proof of earlier education.
    Certificate proving German or English language proficiency.
    Student Health Insurance.
    If this is not approved, the ITA will expire and the applicant will be removed from the Express Entry Pool. If the candidate has a change in their situation after replying to the ITA, they will have to recalculate their CRS score and update it accordingly. Await Approval from Canada Once all the documents have been submitted, they will be verified scrupulously. If everything that has been sent has been successfully verified for their validity, then the approval for the Canadian PR visa will be obtained.
